Full-Time Office Administrator for Engineering Consulting Office – LANGLEY, BC
Desired attributes:
• 2-3 years’ administrative experience
• Prior experience in a Consulting Engineering support role is a strong asset
• Strong time management skills and organizational skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure, under multiple-deadlines, with minimal supervision and the ability to take initiative and use independent judgment
• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Professional)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to start immediately
Responsibilities include:
• General office administration and reception duties
• Experienced and comfortable with producing and editing all types of business correspondence (letters, memos, spreadsheets, preparing/compiling/printing extensive reports and/or technical proposals)
• Contract administration
• Experience in AR/AP is an asset as this role involves assistance with accounting procedures, namely processing and recording payments received on a daily basis, processing received invoices for payment and liaison with AR clerk
• Office maintenance (purchase, receive, and store supplies)
• Manage office filing and archiving
• Occasional planning, organizing, and coordinating meetings, functions, and special events
• Support to Project Managers with varying tasks, as needed, including occasional deliveries of documents to make deadlines
• Assist with travel arrangements, as required, and maintain records of expenditures
Location: Langley, BC
Work hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Compensation: to be negotiated based on experience, excellent benefits package and incentive program
